Job Description

Responsible for developing, creating and designing brochures, promotional pieces, eblasts and other print and digital collateral materials

Job Duties

Develop layout and production design of a wide range of materials for various Touro schools, including brochures, fliers, and various promotional materials. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Conduct pre-design research for upcoming projects by gathering and studying the relevant information and materials
• Create unique, effective designs that conform to the Touro brand and messaging
• Identify most effective ways to communicate messaging in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and other design techniques.
• Email blasts (coded in HTML)
• Social media graphics (templates that can be changed every few months, special holiday or event graphics)
• Infographics
• Touro talk e-newsletter graphics
• Social media ads
• Digital ads

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
Skills
• Ability to work on multiple design projects simultaneously, without sacrificing quality or deadlines.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently and under pressure
• Strong knowledge of typography, layout, and ability to establish hierarchy of information
• Open to new ideas and influences, and quick to react to changing trends
• Ability to effectively present ideas—both verbally and visually
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledgeable in Hebrew language is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Computer Skills
• Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite Skills (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Physical Demands

Extensive use of computers
Able to lift up to 5 lbs
