Job Description

Administrative support for the Admissions office that includes data entry, scheduling appointments, providing information, assembling admission packets, research and general office work.

Job Duties

Assist in the administration for the admissions department to include, but not limited to the following:

Performs data entry of all admissions applications, documents, inquiries and admission forms received through the admissions department. Responsible for accurate tracking of and inputting the information into the AY Hobsons, TouroOne/Banner and Ynot system ensure that all data entry interactions result in a 90% accuracy rate Conduct college transfer credits evaluations Provide admission data integrity for Banner and AY student systems Assess readmit application for acceptance status Manage all incoming mail for admissions office Returns all inquiry calls and make out bound calls to applicants who applications are incomplete Provides information to prospects in person and over the phone, and serve students as needed Assists with mailings, make and monitors phone calls Updates student record information in system, daily Researches student information in system, daily Schedules appointments in the system, daily Provides information to students, daily Pre-screens students in the Admissions process, daily Performs any other duty that may be assigned
Required Qualifications

Associate Degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
1-2 years of experience in customer service

Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated computer proficiency in academic computing
Demonstrated interpersonal, written and oral communication
Problem solving and organizational skills
Detail oriented, customer service orientation, ability to work independently and great levels of responsibility

Physical Demands

Extensive Use of Computers
Extensive time sitting and standing
Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
