Job Description

The Curricular Support Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of tasks associated with the high functioning Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. The Curricular Support Manager will work collaboratively with the College of Pharmacy management team, faculty, staff and students to promote the growth and development of the program. The work requires strong organizational and communication skills. The incumbent must have excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills and be motivated to work with diverse groups of individuals to meet targeted goals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Duties

• Coordinate and manage the documentation of PharmD program updates
• Provide administrative support for the curricular calendar
• Assist course coordinators and department chairs in maintaining and updating syllabi
• Manage the scheduling of rooms for course coordinators and department chairs
• Assist in the preparation for exams, including printing materials
• Provide administrative support for the curriculum committee
• Manage the maintenance and dissemination of accurate, up-to-date curricular information between the college and other university stakeholders (e.g. catalog information, Blackboard information)
• Assist in preparing written and web-based information about the curriculum
• Assist in creating new resources to promote and develop the curriculum
• Perform needed duties as assigned to support the advancement and maintenance of the PharmD curriculum
• Provide backup for other administrative support staff in the College of Pharmacy, when needed

No supervisory responsibilities are associated with this position.

Required Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Additional formal education, preferred
• Three (3) years at the Executive Assistant level or equivalent experience
