Job Description

Seeking entry level Clinical Research Coordinator (part-time) to assist with clinical research studies at Touro University California’s Metabolic Research Center.

Job Duties

Under the supervision of the lead research nurse or The Director of Clinical Research, the research coordinator will assist with subject recruitment, visit scheduling, regulatory documents, preparing for subject visits, subject intake, lab processing and shipping and supply management. There also may be opportunities to assist with patient education and outreach. Flexible schedule (10-20 hours per week)

Travel as needed within Solano County

Required Qualifications

Education, Preparation, and Training
GCP and Human Subject Protection Training must be complete within the first month of hire.
• AA, AS or BA, BS preferred

• Computer skills including Windows, Word, Outlook, Excel
• Detail-oriented; Organizational skills; Ability to multi-task
• Good communication (verbal & written) skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Spanish fluency preferred
• Phlebotomy experience and lab processing experience are a plus.
• Flexible schedule (10-20 hours per week)

Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
