Job Description

Supports staff, faculty and students to complete their day to day job. Software and
technical help/advisement to staff and faculty (350+ users)

Job Duties

Responsible for general day to date support, to include, but not limited to as much of the
following as possible:

Handle regular IT tasks including:
• Troubleshooting of PC hardware and software related issues.
• Computer cleaning, maintenance and repair.
• Direct contact with students for computer related problems
• Assist in Server Maintenance
• Assists in Network Maintenance
• Printer maintenance
• Technical instruction to faculty and staff on use of touro used software
• Setup and maintain A/V equipment
• Management of group emails
• Remote support to faculty and staff
• PC hardware troubleshooting
• Hardware installation
• Software troubleshooting

Handle all iClicker tasks including:

• Weekly copying of all iClicker data from all classrooms in use.
• Create backups from all clicker data.
• Running iClicker data through iClicker Parser to create up-loadable excel
• spreadsheets for grade center.
• Meet/Correspond with faculty to help re-grade clicker sessions in iGrader (if needed).
• Meet/Correspond with students that have questions regarding their iClicker sessions (if needed).
• Any other iClicker related things that may arise.
Any other IT tasks that may arise.

Required Qualifications

Education, Preparation, and Training

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
• At least 2 years’ experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
• Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
• Excellent communication, Time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
• Basic knowledge of DNS, DHCP, LDAP, TCP/IP
• Knowledge of Windows Workstations/Servers, Linux Servers and Mac OSX.
