Job Description

Provides assistance for student support services

Job Duties

• Prepare lesson materials, bulletin board displays, exhibits, equipment, and demonstrations.
• Assist with demonstration such as simulated labs, lab demonstration ,venipuncture, vital signs.
• Distribute teaching materials such as textbooks, workbooks, papers, and pencils to students.
• Distribute tests and homework assignments, and collect them when they are completed.
• Enforce administration policies and rules governing students.
• Grade homework and tests, and compute and record results, using answer sheets or electronic marking devices.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use and care of equipment
• Organize and label materials, and displays
• Plan, prepare, and develop various teaching aids such as bibliographies, charts, and graphs.
• Take class attendance, and maintain clinical attendance records.
• Attend staff meetings, and serve on committees as required.
• Maintain computers log on request and classroom requests, and assist students with hardware and software use.
• Monitor classroom viewing of live or recorded courses
• Operate and maintain audiovisual equipment.
• Requisition and stock teaching materials and supplies.
• Type, file, and duplicate materials.
• Assist with coordinating and tracking pending work assignment and clinical assignments so students are aware of contact personnel at each Hospital.
• Prepare attendance verification for HRA, Children and Families and other scholarship programs
• Prepare and copy exams and seating charts
• Coordinate application materials for Advanced and Advanced imaging Programs and coordinate pages and referrals for students.
• File and maintain student files
• Maintain test bank questions for students

Required Qualifications

Education: Experience working with students for two years with excellent computer skills. AA degree preferred

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience as an administrative assistant required. Experience working with diverse population
