Job Description

Responsible for all aspects of recruitment and registration process, as well as retention for NY Link full-time and part-time students

Job Duties

Developing recruitment relationships with a wide range of early childhood education programs and other community-based organizations.
Daily travelling to various sites throughout assigned territory (may vary each semester) and meeting in person with leadership, teaching staff, and parents in order to foster long-term feeder programs for Touro College.
Daily reporting progress and updates to NY Link Operations Director. Progress reports include centers visited, time spent, and students added to pipeline.
Responsible for recruiting a minimum of 2 new cohorts per academic year plus ensuring a retention rate for existing students equal to Touro’s average retention rate.
Assisting students with Toure applications and facilitating transmission of admissions paperwork to the proper departments on campus.
Working closely with college administrators to effectively ensure student intake.
Maintains a database of all returning and non-returning NY Link students, generates reports, and contacts non-returning students to aid in retention.
Maintaining familiarity with degree programs, admissions practices, and financial aid in order to effectively represent Toure College to potential students.
Acting as a Touro College brand ambassador in dealings with all individuals, including proper decorum, attire, and understanding of Touro’s educational mission.
Other administrative duties as required.

Required Qualifications

Education, Preparation, and Training
Bachelor’s Degree or working towards Bachelor’s Degree
At least 1year of professional experience in recruiting, marketing, case management and/or sales
Experience in post-secondary education administration


Ability to follow directions and be trusted to work semi-independently Strong communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with culturally diverse populations Ability to develop new customer bases and territories
Demonstrated success in post-secondary recruitment Computer proficiency

Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 360 Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook Proficiency in Banner and Hobson’s AY

Daily travelling to various sites throughout assigned territory
