Job Description

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for administrative support to the SVP of Operations

Job Duties

Provide support to Senior Vice President of Operations including the following duties:
Work on operations projects as needed by SVP. Responsible for general administrative support. Participates and attends meetings as needed. Creates files and follows up with any missing documentation. Review filing documents, maintain files as necessary. Meets and greets all visitors. Processes on-line documents. Requisitions for Banner, subscriptions, imprint orders. Interacts with different departments- Human Resources, Facilities, Security, Purchasing, Accounts Payable and General Accounting. Interacts with upper level personnel. Prepares requisitions for department, follows up on difficulties; Keeps track of all orders by the department. Manages calendar and sets up appointments for the Senior Vice President
Responsible for ordering supplies. Responsible for typing memos, letters, and general correspondence. Responsible for entering and updating information into the system and creates reports

Required Qualifications

Education, Preparation, and Training
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous experience with general office administrative responsibilities and procedures.
Skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Good communication skills, both oral and written
Able to prioritize tasks
Computer Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
