Job Description

Part Time Adjunct faculty members will teach courses in the Occupational Therapy Program on the Manhattan campus. Applicants with expertise in all areas of occupational therapy are welcome to apply. Curriculum Vitae are retained for 1 year. Applicants whose area of expertise meets the needs of the program will be contacted. Applicants with expertise to teach human anatomy in an on-campus format, with an opportunity for blended format (combined on-line and on-campus format) are encouraged to apply by November 15, 2017.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Teach 1-2 courses per semester
Submit grades by the due date
Meet with students, as needed, related to courses taught
Utilize on-line platforms, such as Blackboard, and software to support teaching responsibilities
Attend faculty meetings (optional

Required Qualifications

Education, Preparation, and Training
Master’s degree required in related field, Ph.D. preferred

Skills
Strong inter-personal and communication skills’
Touro College emphasizes excellent teaching in a student-focused environment
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

Travel
To the campus where courses are taught
