Job Description

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing overall administrative support to the Director of Recruitment and Admissions

Job Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Manages the Director’s calendar and sets up appointments
• Answers phones and responds to questions from prospective and current students; if needed, forwards calls to Director and or other members of the Tour administration; mails requested documents in response to students’ requests
.. Greets all visitors and either provides them with the needed information or directs them to appropriate resources.
• Is responsible for typing and preparing memos, letters, flyers, program announcements and other written documents
Enters and updates student information into our data base system and creates reports for the Director as needed.
• Creates and maintains program files, and follows up to locate any missing documents
• Processes student registrations each semester
• Orders supplies for the office; prepares requisitions and purchase orders as needed
• Interacts with other Touro branches when necessary
• Maintain main admissions data base overseeing data input at all points of the admissions process.
• Oversee all travel arrangements for all recruitment trips.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree
Skills:
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work quickly and independently with minimal guidance or oversight
• Highly organized
• Ability to prioritize tasks
Computer Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel
