The responsibilities of this adjunct faculty position include teaching Exercise Physiology to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Students at the Manhattan and/ or Bay Shore Campus. The position primarily seeks expertise in exercise science and the application of exercise to patients and clients of all ages.

The position may also have responsibilities for consultation in integrating exercise science across other courses in the curriculum. The class is scheduled to meet two times per week.

Graduate degree in Physiology, or related area. DPT candidates with contemporary expertise in exercise physiology will also be considered. Teaching experience in the areas of Exercise Physiology, Therapeutic exercise and/or Physiology is desirable.
Computer Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Google Docs, and Drop Box
