Job Description

The position supports the Office of College Affairs and the Director of Publications.

Job Duties

The Assistant supports the Office of College Affairs and the Director of Publications. Tasks include but are not limited to the following:
General administrative duties including answering phone, mailing, copying and basic computer work.
Works directly with the Director of Publications on a wide range of administrative tasks.
Obtains sign-offs from compliance, deans and relevant departments
Follow up approvals for printed material.
Edit/review suggested text for printed material.
Interface with various departments to collect information for publications.
Work with designer in obtaining necessary information for printed material.
Keep track of bidding for printing.
Assist Director of Publications in daily activity.
Organize and maintain digital photo storage.
Organize printed PDFs in digital storage.
Organize and create files for each school for easy reference.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred
At least 1-2 years’ experience in similar role
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication Well organized and self-directed
Detail oriented and customer service skills Able to prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Banner
