Job Description

The Preclinical Coordinator assists the Preclinical Dean in maintaining documentation related to the COCA standards

Job Duties

The Preclinical Coordinator is responsible for providing support for the activities of the preclinical department including, but not limited to the following:

• Maintaining Faculty, Faculty Development, the Curriculum and Facilities COCA documentation as they relate to the Preclinical Program
• Maintaining and tracking faculty committee membership, as appointed by the Dean
• Planning and Developing Faculty Development Programs which support the teaching skills of the faculty
• Analysis of TouroCOM and NBOME outcomes data for the purpose of correlating outcomes in preclinical performance with COMLEX Level 1 performance
• Providing assistance on the creation of Preclinical outcome reports and updates to be presented to the Executive Dean and Provost
• Providing daily assistance to the Preclinical Dean in managing the Preclinical Faculty and Curriculum

Required Qualifications

Education, Preparation, and Training
1-3 years administrative experience

Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Computer Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook

Work takes place in Administrative Offices
Recruiting may require travel to extramural locations in the city or elsewhere, nationally.
