Job Description

Provide support and training and create instructional materials for Touro users in the use of technology to enhance their instructional and administrative duties.

Job Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Work closely with faculty to advance their Learning Management System understanding and effective incorporation in traditional and online classrooms.
• Assist with LMS administration and provide various LMS support to faculty, including respond to Helpdesk tickets.
• Develop and deliver online and face-to-face trainings in group and one-on-one settings on topics such as LMS technologies, Office 365, Box, Zoom, Qualtrics
• Develop, maintain and manage online training schedule for employees at all Touro locations based on survey results and various user feedback
• Develop templates, tools, and processes to streamline the use of technology in instructional settings.
• Develop outcomes measurement tools and strategy to assist with the assessment of learning outcomes and measuring effectiveness of current teaching methodologies using technology.
• Design and develop courses in various modalities, including instructor-led, self-study, computer-based and web based.
• Provide training to faculty and staff on the Banner ERP system as needed
• Multimedia support to faculty including assisting with video recording, video post-production, webcasts, podcasts, mobile video device, and instructional video conferencing.

Required Qualifications

Education, Preparation, and Training
• Bachelors degree required
• 2 to 3 years experience of eLearning development and design
• 2 to 3 years in teaching and/or training

• Familiarity with higher education environment is a plus

Skills
• A demonstrated ability to use the instructional design process, major models/best practices, and ability to grasp technical and non-technical content
• Experience with Analysis Development Design Implementation Evaluation (ADDIE)
• Ability to work well with others and to communicate ideas clearly orally and in writing
• Quickly adapt new computer technologies as they become available, and keep pace with changing educational and training needs
• Ability to maintain calm under pressure
• Ability to meet deadlines on an ongoing basis
• Experience in delivering technical training to non-technical end-users
• Experience in in-person and remote training for individuals as well as large groups
• Experience with public speaking
Computer Skills
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (Canvas, Blackboard etc)
• Proficiency in Office 365 Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficiency in Zoom, GoToMeeting and other video conferencing software
• Proficiency in Captivate and or Articulate

Travel

Travel to seminars, conferences as indicated by ERP & Related Technology User-Implementation & Training Manager

Preferred Qualifications
Physical Demands

• Extensive Use of Computers
• Extensive time sitting and standing
• Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
