Job Description

The Curriculum Administrator is responsible for the overall management and coordination of tasks associated with the high functioning of the medical education program. The administrator will work collaboratively with the members of the UME Office, as well as course and clerkship directors, program administrators, and students.

Job Duties

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Functions*)
1. Provide administrative support for UME/ED Tech applications including LCMS+, New Innovations, Canopy
2. Central monitoring of required course/ clerkship assessments in New Innovations.
3. Support and train Course/ Clerkship administrators in New Innovations.
4. Assist in coordinating curricular programs managed through the UME office (e.g. Transition Courses, Biomedical Ethics, Student Electives, Areas of Concentration Programs)
5. Assist Ed Tech in coordinating and administering computer based assessments.
6. Assist Course and Clerkship Directors in scheduling rooms and collating informational packets for the academic year.
7. Support Chairs of curriculum subcommittees in scheduling and distribution of agendas of monthly meetings
8. Additional administrative tasks of the UME office as needed

Required Qualifications

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Education requirement: Bachelors Degree
Licenses or certifications: N/A
Technical/computer skills:
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite Skills
• Agility in learning new computer applications

Prior experience:
• 2-3 years relevant administrative support experience
