Job Description

This is a leadership position that requires a highly- motivated individual to lead an effort to build student enrollment by Identifying, expanding, and solidifying working partnerships with NYC work-site groups. This requires strategic relationship building with key organizations and their leadership.

Job Duties

Include, but not limited to the following:

• Will actively utilize a senior consultant to meet or exceed goals stated above. He/she will better solidify the academic structures of the program by working closely with Touro academic leadership while recognizing national changes in higher education.
• Closely communicate with the ECE Link program, as that team will initially manage the admissions process of student candidates.
• Amplify the Link program within and external to the Touro community.
• The major position deliverables are enrollment building of qualified students and corresponding financial resources. The NYSCAS leadership team will develop annual goals.
• Daily travelling to various sites throughout assigned territory (may vary each semester) and meeting in person with leadership, teaching staff, and parents In order to foster long-term feeder programs for Touro College.
• Dally reporting progress and updates to Director. Progress reports include centers visited, time spent, and students added to pipeline.
• Responsible for recruiting and ensuring a retention rate for existing students equal to Touro’s average retention rate.
• Working closely with college administrators to effectively ensure student intake.
• Maintaining familiarity with degree programs, admissions practices, and financial aid in order to effectively represent Touro College to potential students.
• Acting as a Touro College brand ambassador in dealings with all Individuals, Including proper decorum, attire, and understanding of Touro’s educational mission.
• Other administrative duties as required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in education, social work, marketing or related major

At least 2 years of professional experience in marketing and/or sales Experience in post·secondary education administration

Strong communication skills
Well organized, with attention to detail, takes initiative and be a self-starter.
Persistent, with good sales skills
Ability to develop new customer bases and territories
Ability to communicate effectively with culturally diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook

Travel – Daily travelling to various sites throughout assigned territory

Physical Demands

Use of computers
Ability to lift 5 lbs.
Extensive time sitting and standing
