Job Description

The Research Assistant will be responsible for clinical research coordination, and will assist with sample processing and data analysis.

Job Duties

-Responsible for coordinating clinical research in Metabolic Research Center (MRC; directly working with MRC staff for scheduling subject screening, study dates, and study setup.
-Responsible for assisting with sample processing, organization and storage.
-Responsible for assisting with sample analysis and data management.

Required Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

-A minimum of a BS or BA in biochemistry or one of the biosciences, on year laboratory experience.
-Professional communication skills; oral and written and basic math skills are required.
-Strong analytical skills, knowledgeable in physiology, biochemistry and chemistry.
-General computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office.
