Job Description

Performs graduation audit for multiple undergraduate, graduate and professional schools.
Prepares degree conferral letters and verifications.

Job Duties

• Troubleshoot technical and academic questions regarding academic records in order to provide customer service regarding the student record process.

• Develop and maintain a highly detailed level of knowledge regarding all academic programs.

• Performs degree audit and inputs conferral dates, if applicable.

• Works closely with the deans and advisors in the certification process including the identification of substitutions.

• Issues the degree conferral letters.

• Generates post-graduation reports and data analysis.

• Provide high-quality customer service in all aspects of the position.

• Other tasks assign by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Customer service experience, especially with an assertive clientele.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to employ logic to solve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to process large volumes of work, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Experience with degree evaluation and/or student information system software.
• Detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Ellucian Banner student information system.
• Experience with academic programs and their requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities.
• Experience building degree evaluations, particularly using Degree Works, is strongly preferred.
• Work or other experience that required logic in dealing with complexity.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.
