Job Description

The Neuropsychologist participates as an integral member of the team in terms of completing pediatric comprehensive neuropsychological assessment batteries in order to determine a child’s current level of functioning, provide diagnostic clarification, and to assist in treatment planning.

Job Duties

1. The Neuropsychologist is responsible for selecting appropriate pediatric neuropsychological and psychological measures, conducting all aspects of a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, and writing integrated reports.
1.1. Conduct all aspects of a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation, including but not limited to parent/collateral interviews, direct assessment, scoring and interpretation of results, writing integrated reports, and communicating findings to parents.
1.2. Maintain accurate records
1.3. Ensure adults and children follow center policies and procedures
1.4. Other duties may be assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education:
Ph.D. or Psy.D. In Clinical Psychology
Currently licensed in good standing in Nevada.

Experience:
Skills and training in Neuropsychological and Psychological Assessment

Skills & Abilities:
Communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Work independently as well as collaboratively
Analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action
