Job Description

The administrative coordinator to the practice department supports all administrative functions as needed for full time as well as adjunct faculty teaching.

Job Duties

• Compile reports for licensure, student performance tracking, registrar, student inquiries.
• Offer administrative support to sequence chairs (syllabi distribution, meeting arrangements, teleconference arrangements, etc)
• Facilitate hiring (i.e. payroll, sing on codes, ID badges, library access, blackboard access)
• Interface with Registrar, Bursar, Financial Aid departments
• Course evaluation reporting
• Distributing desk copies
• Provide administrative support for the Office of Student Advancement
• Send out student communications for program
• Coordinate orientation programs for Fall and Spring cohort
• Provide coverage and added support to Dean’s office
• Provide administrative support to Associate Dean and Director of MSW Program
• First line in troubleshooting student concerns
• Interface with Registrar and Bursar
• Banner system
• Notification of academic calendar
• Roster distribution and follow up
• Classroom assignments
• Meeting coordination
• Faculty Observation reporting

Required Qualifications

Baccalaureate degree with a minimum of 10 years administrative experience.
Need to be able to multitask and manage time efficiently. Relate to vendors and staff in congenial and cooperative manner. Culturally sensitive and able to handle confidential material.

Preferred Qualifications

High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

Physical Demands

Extensive use of computing software
Extensive time sitting and standing
Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
